Two observations for the day

1. The defeat of the Republican party in 2012 is an object lesson: Nothing that embraces only one political or racial demographic can rightfully be called a "national" movement.
2. Something people like Karl Rove, Megyn Kelly, Mary Matalin et. al. should take to heart: Words are like making wine. If all you have are sour grapes, then all you can make is vinegar. Nobody's going to drink your vinegar. Nobody who counts, anyway. If the Republicans want to get back into power, then they had better make their words sweet and their actions sweeter.
